I don’t know about you but I am so excited about the next Cars movie due out in June 2011. In preparation for this great event, we have decided to make our Summer Kids Club a CARZ theme. So rev up your engines and get ready for some serious motor fun in your summer!

This year you will meet Indy, our very own CARZ race driver. He is so excited to be part of this years Piston Cup that he can hardly believe that it is real. Unfortunately, he and his team have some important lessons to learn along the way. The race they have entered is full of challenges and twists...much like our lives. How he handles them add to the fun and excitement of our drama. There will be non-stop laughs and thrills guaranteed for all this year!

Our drama raises some great questions about our own lives too...the Bible compares our lives to a race. For some we are in the race and things are going fine. For others the race is tough as it is filled with detours, accidents and challenges of all kinds. Still for others, the race is unknown and life is feeling a bit empty. During this week together we will be looking at the race called life and how we can get the most out of it and how we can deal with the challenges that we sometimes face.

But...Hey...the drama is just part of the fun we will have together...how would you and the team your on like to build your very own Go-Carts and get them ready for our very own SKC Piston Cup 2011? We are so excited to have a crew that will assist all the teams to build their very own Go-Carts. Each team will have the basic frame and you get to add to it, paint it and make it your very own...something your team can be proud of. Then on Friday, our last day together, we will have races and see which team takes home the SKC Piston Cup! Will it be yours?

Of course we have brought back our favorites such as our themed games, including Fill-mores Perfect Pool Party and Mater’s Tow Challenge and even Hudson Hornet’s Remote Control Races... there is LOTS for everyone to enjoy! Our dinner will be served at our very own Flo’s V8 Café! The food will be awesome so you can fill yer tanks up! Parents, if I may have your attention for a moment...imagine 5 days in a row where you can have dinner in peace and quiet...and hey...you can even go out on a date night with your spouse! You could sit back with a good book or even just do nothing...all this while we have your kids and they are in a safe and secure environment with lots of supervision all the while having a GREAT time! Who wouldn’t want that???

Registrations are now being accepted BUT only until Friday July 8, 2011. So be sure to invite your friends and their friends and don’t miss out on a great week.
